Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026
Maker Board stores your Boards on your iPhone. This policy explains local Board storage, purchases, and the services used by the app.
What Maker Board accesses
Maker Board asks for access to your photo library so you can choose photos and videos for your Boards. It uses the items you select to display your Boards and share them when you choose to use the system Share Sheet.
What Maker Board stores
Maker Board stores Board titles, descriptions, and references to the photos and videos you select in local app storage on your device. The app does not upload your Board information, photos, or videos to our servers.
What Maker Board does not do
- It does not require a Maker Board account or collect in-app registration information.
- It does not display advertising or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.
- It does not sell your personal information. Purchase information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat as described below.
- It does not access or reorganize your photo library beyond the permission you grant and the items you choose.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Maker Board offers three free Boards and an optional one-time Unlimited Boards purchase. Apple processes the payment. Maker Board does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.
We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, maintain and restore paid access, prevent purchase fraud, and provide purchase reporting. RevenueCat processes purchase history, transaction or receipt information, an automatically generated anonymous app user identifier, and technical information such as app and operating-system versions. The app does not send your Board titles, descriptions, photos, or videos to RevenueCat. We do not supply RevenueCat with your name, email address, or an advertising identifier.
For information about RevenueCat’s services and its role in processing end-user data, see RevenueCat’s privacy policy. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
Sharing
If you choose to share content from a Board, iOS sends it to the destination you select. That destination’s privacy practices apply to the content you share.
Your choices
You can manage Maker Board’s photo-library access in iOS Settings. Removing the app from your device removes its local app data; it does not delete photos or videos from your photo library.
Removing a Board or an item from a Board leaves its Photos originals intact. Restore Purchases restores the Unlimited Boards unlock, not your Boards. Maker Board does not provide its own Board backup or syncing service. Your iCloud Photos and device-backup settings are controlled by Apple and by you.
Deleting the app does not automatically delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. Contact us about access to or deletion of purchase-related information; some records may need to be retained for transaction, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations.
Support and website
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use it to respond to your request. Our support website is hosted by Netlify, which may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site. The website does not store your Boards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Maker Board changes. The effective date at the top will show when it was last revised.
